Getting Started with KeyMail

The KeyMail login is on the main page of our website. Enter your user name and password and you will be taken to the main KeyMail screen.

KeyMail is divided into three tabbed sections: Audience, Campaign, and Response. Before you go any further, you should notice on the right side of the page there is a self-help section. You'll actually find these on every page of the KeyMail system, and each one is filled with information specifically pertaining to the page you are on. This is a valuable resource and we hope you find it helpful.

Prior to logging in and crafting your KeyMail campaigns, though, you should be thinking about your audience.  What do they want out of an e-newsletter?  What information will they find useful and helpful?

While the purpose of many e-newsletters is marketing, you should keep in mind that spam levels are constantly on the rise.  Each of your customers is used to getting lots of unwanted marketing messages in their Inbox every day.  How can you set your message apart?  What can you offer them that will instantly set your message apart from all the rest?  Most of your loyal customers won't mind being marketed to as long as there is something of value to them.

You should also consider your copy and what type of language you'll use.  Are your clients mostly senior citizens, adults, or kids?  Use a writing style that will appeal to your target audience.  Take advantage of KeyMail's "personalization" feature, which inserts personalized language--such as a person's name--into the body of the message.
